Services
At Cheers we have a team of both general and specialist dentists who cover a large scope of Dentistry. We offer a range of dental services including oral disease prevention, tooth restorations, tooth replacements, aesthetic treatments and surgery. We also offer dental services to patients requiring special care and pediatric patients, such as behavioural guidance, gentle techniques and different forms of sedation (audio, visual, IV).
Special Care Dentistry involves the treatment of patients with Special Needs. Some patients may need special facilities or services to have dental care provided.
Prevention of oral diseases is a crucial part of dentistry. Treatments to prevent oral diseases include scaling, oral hygiene instruction, dietary analysis and fluoride application.
Aesthetic dentistry is aimed at improving the appearance of teeth and your smile. Procedures can be done to improve the aesthetics of teeth, close up the space between teeth, help with teeth discolouration or alignment.
There are certain circumstances in which teeth have to be extracted or have fallen out. In these cases patients may want to replace their tooth/teeth with artificial ones with a bridge, denture or implant.
There are some circumstances in which surgery is required to treat certain dental conditions.
These include removal of broken down teeth or wisdom teeth or treatment of gum diseases.
If your tooth has a cavity it normally needs to be restored or “filled”. There are several treatments that may be done to restore a tooth including but not limited to: a filling, placement of a crown/inlay/onlay or a root canal treatment along with a filling or a crown.
Orthodontic treatment (dental braces) involves the use of devices to move teeth or adjust underlying bone. At Cheers Dental Care we offer orthodontic treatment (braces) for children and adults and various braces.
